What am I doing?
By blocking off the airflow from the exhaust port, airflow is prevented from flowing through the venturi. This stops the venturi arction and the regulated air exits from the vacuum port
When doing this procedure, do not put your face over the top fo the clamp
Although it is possible to use this feature to release the workpiece from the clamp, we do not recommend it.
 
 
 

 

How to unblock your clamp

These clamps almost self clean

With any vacuum device, grit and dirt being sucked in will always adversely effect the performance. Vac-Clamps design means that this is not a problem. By using the flow of air that is available we turn suck into blow, simply by blocking off the exhaust port airflow.
