Safety Considerations

*Cannot clamp fingers
*Cannot jam fingers between workpiece and clamp
*Runs on compressed air, no chance of electrocution
Nylon body does not allow sparks if cutter should come into contact

How safe are V-Clamps?

Designed in safety

The design of V-Clamps ensures that fingers in particular cannot get jammed into any part of the clamp. All openings are smaller than 7mm, and the seal channels are less than 8mm. The vacuum port does not allow ingestion of even childrens fingers.

Work piece to clamp issues

The standard seal has 2mm of "take up". This means that the gap between workpiece and clamp is 2mm or less before it will grab. You might get a fingernail caught if you try hard enough.
